I spot this amazing birthday a few days ago on Flickr. I immediately felt in love with the levels of details. Andrea, you and your daughter impressed me.
The mother and daughter team will cherish these memories all their life. Andrea asked for the help of her daughter Ava in planning the little girl 8th birthday. Andrea told me that they had a fantastic time planning and pulling it off.
Get Inspired by A Real-Life Birthday Party
They planned for lots of cool activities. This is important to get your guests occupied. The kids learned how to write their names in Chinese. Picking up pompoms with chopsticks was a hit; it is harder to do than it seems.
The kids drank cheery lemonade with maraschino cherries frozen in ice cubes served in ornate Chinese tea cups. The decorative elements include various styles of Chinese paper lanterns and Chinese umbrellas.
Naturally, the goodies were picked up in Chinatown. They gathered the items in clear plastic bags. Then, they inserted the goodies bags inside take-out cartoons decorated with Chinese papers. This was a cool idea.
Like any typical girl birthday party, the event ended up in the child bedroom. This was truly an amazing party. So much that I would have like to be invited. Congratulations to Andrea and Ana.
Discovering An Artistic Mom Blogger
By the way, Andrea published a blog since March 2005 called Hula Seventy. Her blog transpires the joy of family life. You feel good simply by admiring the pictures. I recommend that you check it out. She often held a Photo Booth Friday.
Thank you Andrea for allowing me to share your real-life party with my readers. I am sure they will appreciate your creativity.
