Remember the bold color glass kitchenware from Annie Michaud and the exquisite home accessories from Karine Bouchard.
It is that time of the year: Save and stock a few gifts for the teachers of your kids or hostess gifts. This Saturday, June 7th, 2008 is the biannual workshop sale of Gogoglass.
How this event works?
You can get pieces with little imperfections at a fraction of the regular price. I bought an orange lemon reamer at the same type of sales last Christmas.
The event has an educational side since you watch live artists creating pieces at their Marche Bonsecours workshop in Montreal Old Port. The event is from 10 to 17 o’clock.
To understand what is so special about their work, I invite you to read what I wrote when I visited their workshop last Christmas. I first introduced Annie Michaud’s blown glass kitchenware in August 2007.

The sales start January 10th, 2008. Exceptionally both stores will be open on this Sunday, January 13.
Since 1975, Arthur Quentin sells European tableware, kitchenware and home decor items to those practicing the art of gracious living. They mostly carry high end French Country style and Italian pieces. Bleu Nuit shares the same philosophy but for bed and bathroom linens.
It is time for me to get that fabulous pure linen hemstitched table cloth and matching napkins that I saw last fall. Arthur Quentin has in store one of the largest selections of Gien's dinnerware.
You got until January 26 to save up to 50% of specified products, 30% of others and 20% on everything in the store.

It is the right time to stock up seasonal address labels for your Christmas cards. I am fond of the Blue & Coral Damask and the Polar Bear by Penny People Designs.
At $10 a sheet, they make a special and inexpensive Christmas for your new neighbors. You can add a pack of correspondence cards and give shape to a custom gift for your girl friends.
Until November 2nd, 2007, you will get an extra sheet for free when you buy one at Penny People Designs.
Quick tips on modern addressing for Christmas
Take the time to write down the address by hand. Even if you do not write in calligraphic style, a calligraphy pen looks better. Practice a little bit before you start.
There is a surplus of mailed letters during Christmas. So it is best to follow the recognized standards by the Postal Services when writing the addresses. Your letters will be delivered faster. And in case there is a problem, you increase your chances to get back your letter sooner.
